Launch announcement and purpose 🚀
We are launching Delta 7.0 for Summer 2025. Classes start on 10 June 2025. Delta is a full stack web development program built to help B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, BCA and similar students prepare for tech internships and placements. Our goal is simple: teach end-to-end web development from fundamentals to advanced production-ready skills while focusing heavily on practical, hands-on projects and deployments.
Who is Delta 7.0 for? 🧑💻
Delta 7.0 is designed for students who want to build a strong profile for tech placements and internships. If you are a second or third year student preparing for internship season, a final year student targeting full-time offers, or someone just starting your coding journey, this batch is for you. The program is ideal when you want to:
- Prepare specifically for software engineering placements and internships
- Build industry-grade projects to show proof of work
- Gain practical full stack skills with MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)
- Strengthen your profile for hackathons, off-campus drives and real interviews
Program structure and schedule 🗓️
Delta 7.0 runs in two phases and follows an alternate-day lecture schedule. Lectures are scheduled at 8 PM and last about 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Phase 1 — 4.5 months: Complete monstack fundamentals, small projects and one deployed full-stack project.
- Phase 2 — Project-focused: Multiple industry-grade projects, each given roughly 10 to 15 days, plus advanced development concepts.
What you’ll learn in Phase 1 📚
Phase 1 covers the monstack end to end with a practical-first approach. We will build minor projects as we learn each technology so learning stays hands-on.
- Front end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS, React.js
- Back end: Node.js, Express.js, MVC architecture, error handling, authentication and authorization
- Databases: MongoDB and SQL with integration to Express.js
- One complete full-stack project and deployment practice
- Assignments and practice questions after every important concept to build consistency
Phase 2
and advanced development concepts 🚀
Phase 2 is deeply project-driven and includes advanced tooling that production teams use regularly. Each major project gets focused time and we also teach infrastructure and software engineering practices.
- Project time allocation: 10 to 15 days per major project
- Advanced topics: Docker and containerization, Kubernetes basics, CI/CD pipeline setup
- Realtime & testing: WebSocket, WebRTC, unit testing with Jest
- AWS and deployment: EC2, S3, Amplify; deployments on Render and AWS
Six major full-stack projects you will build 🛠️
We will build six industry-grade projects that cover essential production features and integrations. Each project targets different real-world requirements and technologies.
- Airbnb-style listings app — Listings, search, MongoDB for storage, Express and Node backend, authentication and authorization.
- Zoom-style video app — Live video streaming concepts using WebRTC, WebSocket and Socket.io for realtime communication.
- Zerodha-style trading app — Stock buy/sell flows, order handling, unit testing with Jest and deployment onto AWS.
- ChatGPT integration — Integrate OpenAI APIs, build frontend in React and backend in Node/Express to handle prompts, conversations and responses.
- GitHub-style version control platform — Build a simple version control system, deploy to AWS EC2 and use S3 for storage.
- LinkedIn-style professional social network — Social features for professional connections, feeds, profiles and deployments.
Along the way we will also create smaller projects such as games and static web apps to strengthen individual technology areas.
How Delta helps with placements and internships 🎯
Two ingredients matter most for placements: hard work and consistency. Enrolling in a batch helps, but you must honor the commitment. Delta is built to give you the practical skills and proof of work companies expect. Here is how Delta helps:
- Industry-relevant JavaScript-based development across front end and back end
- Projects you can showcase on your resume when you lack internships
- Stronger profile for off-campus placements, product and service companies, fintech firms
- Preparation that makes hackathons and real-world challenges easier
Support, mentorship and practice 🤝
We know learning development can feel overwhelming, so we provide structured support:
- Dedicated teaching assistants for one-on-one doubt resolution
- Regular assignments and practice problems tied to each concept
- Live mentorship sessions covering placement strategies: applying off-campus, platforms to use, building a strong LinkedIn profile and getting referrals
How to get the most out of Delta 🔥
Delta provides the structure, projects and mentorship. Your results depend on consistent effort. Keep these principles in mind:
- Set a clear placement or internship goal early and stick to a schedule
- Practice regularly; alternate-day learning with assignments prevents disruptions
- Complete each project and deploy it so you have demonstrable proof of work
- Use TAs and mentorship sessions actively whenever you face roadblocks
